Good news everybody - the summer is finally over! Get ready for a wonderful time with changing colors, chilled air and great nature experiences!
Norway is a wonderful place during fall: there’s a lot of great hikes to be had, and a lot of the local communities offer events during autumn.
Autumn is also a time for a lot of great produce; experience the apple harvest in one of the farms in western Norway!
To all the people participating at Sjøbufestivalen 2019: job well done! No doubt, we’ll be getting ready for 2020 soon. Fjordway will be there too!
Sjøbufestivalen is an event that celebrates the old days, when the fjords were the super-highways of Norway; every little village had its own harbour, where the local ferry or boat visited several times a day.
MS Atløy was one of these boats, frequenting the Dalsfjord on the west coast. The boat was recently refurbished and made sea-worthy again.
Visitors could once again travel between stops in the fjord, and the festival will most likely be held again in 2020 - welcome!
