Arvid O. Mørch, or Sildakongen ( The Herring King) is a true supporter of May 17. and an important Haugesund citizen, even if he comes from Vea on Karmøy. The morning prosession passes his "castle" in Strandgaten, and since he bought this house, he has been greeting the people passing from his balcony. We visited him just before the prosession, og bring some pictures until he joined them.
