| Amandadagen er normalt den
siste festdagen i festivalmåneden August. I år skal vi være
glad den ble utsatt til september. For maken til fint vær, helt på
tross av en værmelding som sa regnbyger, har vi ikke hatt på
så lenge vi kan huske. 600 tildels fantasifullt utkledde "Amandaer"
stilte til start, med og uten barnevogn eller andre "hindringer" i forhold
til det å løpe. Men farten blir bare målt for de 20
første. Hare dette året, var Oddvar Brå. Og de han dro
best igang, og som altså "vant" løpet, var
1) Barbro Ramstad, Etne
2) Lise Marte Eilerås
3) Mirjam berg Hovda (kun 11 år
gml, i teten også i fjor)

This years Amanda run was blessed by the
finest weather we can remember. 600 women and 2 men. Olympic and
world champion ( cross country skiing ) Oddvar Brå ran ahead to make
speed for the fastest. Only the 20 fastest are clocked - for all the others
this is fun - combined with exercice.
