Ragnvald Jarl er blitt skoleskip, og ligger ved indre kai til kl 22 i kveld.
Som åpen båt kan du ta deg en tur omkring på denne fordums
cruisebåten som hadde Norskekysten som farvann.
Havnedagene er i gang - som alltid med masser av gamle
og vernede båter, utstillinger, og aktiviteter. Ta en tur på
Indre kai i dag eller i morgen - og opplev stemningen. Årets temautstilling
om Skipsbygging i Haugesund ble åpnet av Johannes
Haga - som holdt et interessevekkende innlegg om det som en gang var
storindustri i byen vår.

The Harbor festival has started. The above picture is shot from one
of the former coastal steamers - MV Ragnvald Jarl, now named MV Gann. This
is one of the largest ships that has visited the Inner quay in Haugesund
- now used as a training ship for sailor students. Tonight it moves on
towards Hirtshals in Denmark.
But - most important. This afternoon - and tomorrow - we can feel the
pulse of old and well keps boats and ships,
and visit exhibitions and activities on the Haugesund inner quay.
