Det er tid for Blåbær
- og Tyttebærtur. Nå skal en egentlig ikke røpe
hvor en får god fangst - og det er ikke alltid lett å finne.
Men er en heldig, slik vi var i går ettermiddag, kan det bli noen
liter på en kveldstund. Vi fikk med oss 10 liter av de blå
og 2-3 liter tyttebær.
Det var egentlig noen dager for tidlig med tyttebærene, som vil
være perfekt modne i neste uke. Tips: Smør deg med myggolje,
for knotten kan være plagsom. Men fangsten kan bli god - hvis du
finner bærene. Vi var heldigst i en nord-vestvendt skråning.
Traff forresten en kjenning underveis. Han hadde hentet 70-80 liter blåbær
- i Byheiene!

Yesterday late afternoon me and my wife
visited the town hills (Byheiene) to search for Blueberries. We
found it - and some mountain cranberries too. But it's not all over
the area. You have to search. But if you are lucky, as we were, you can
pick your bucket full in an hour or two. We ended up with 10 liters of
Blueberries and more than 2 liters of cranberries.
