Åpner dagens utgave med et bilde
som minner oss om å følge de etterhvert godt innarbeidede
Sildajazz-motene. Etterhvert er utvalget blitt såpass bredt - at
vi trygt kan lansere et nytt forslag til "slogan": "Sildajazz i all slags
vær!" eller "Sildajazz-uansett vær!". Forberedelsene går
sin gang - for mange av de dugnadsarbeidende medarbeiderne er det nok blitt
rutinepreget - for et år går utrolig fort for tiden!
I morgen er det hele i gang. 300 musikere
skal spille for titusenvis av besøkende på nærmere 60
spillesteder. Det hele åpner med Museumsjazz i Dokken i morgen, onsdag,
kl 16.30 - og så går det slag i slag!

Today's issue starts with a picture showing
you different Sildajazz equipment and clothing's that have become well
known and popular among us visitors and participants.With T-shirts, umbrellas,
wind breakers and rain jackets, we can be equipped in all kind of weather.
The preparations goes on, same procedure as every year! The many
voluntary helpers have learned their job - and seemed to know how to do
it!
Tomorrow is the opening day. 300 musicians
will play on 60 different places for tens of thousands of visitors. It
starts in the Dokken Museum on Hasseløy at 4.30PM - and then it
jazzes on for 4 days and nights!
