er på fasadene. Slik utvikler imagen seg. Dette nettstedet har gjennom
et par år fokusert spesiellt på å bevare mest mulig av
det opprinnelige - det vil si det som er igjen av det opprinnelige. Og
da har Christiansenhuset og Bytunet
fått spesiell oppmerksomhet. Nå har det skjedd noe - begge
steder.
Christiansenhuset
er blitt vasket
Vi har tryglet gjennom et helt år
- men etter at flere engasjerte seg, er skiten fjernet, og endel malingsflekking
gjort. Håper det ikke blir med det.
Takk til Bjørn Toft og Lasse Skjoldal
- som under effektiv pressedekning malte gardiner
og blomster på de gjenmalte vinduene i nord.

Haugesund, as most other towns, is
constantly changing. This site has had many issues focusing on the
need to kept what's left of the orginal, 1800 town.
And some of us locals work hard to do that. You may like the way they do
it - or not. Like the flowers, painted houses on walls (picture on top)
or painted flowers and curtains - as Bjørn
Toft and Lasse Skjoldal did on some of the windows of the Christiansenhuset.
And - it has been washed, making this old, fine
house look more as it deserve.
