| De som levde for noen år
siden - husker Romsøes konditori - og Bellevue restaurant. Bellevue
betyr "flott utsikt". Og det hadde restauranten som var et populært
utested i Haugesund på 50-tallet. I dag er den skjult av skog.
Men - nå har den gamle bygningen
vært skole noen år. Steinerskolen overtok på 70-tallet,
og har siden bygget ut både skole og barnehage på tomten, som
altså ligger flott til like sydvest for Eivindsvannet.
Skolen har allerede tatt ferie. I morgen
er siste dag før ferien i Steinerbarnehagen, som holder til i flotte
lokaler på sør vestre del av tomten, med utsikt"helt til England"
- som de sier selv.

The Steiner school of Haugesund was established
in the early 70's, and is situated in the buildings based on a former restaurant,
some km east of the town center. The old restaurant building has its original
extierior, but the new buildings, one belonging to the school, and the
other to the Steiner kindergarten, are very well fit into the surrounding
countryside. Today the school has app. 200 pupils from primary to high
school (1-12 grade). The kindergarten has app 50 children. Here are some
