Slettå viste seg ikke fra den blideste
siden i dag. Disse 4 "dristige" bergenserne fikk oppleve det på nært
hold, uten engang å bli sjøsyke. Men kaldt og hustrig var
det, og da var det godt å fortøye i
en trygg, om ikke direkte lun havn som Indre Kai i Haugesund, og varme
seg på en Underberg. For i dag har det vært kald nordvestlig
vind - med regnbyger. I går var det ennå verre. Var det sommermåneden
juni kalenderen viser?? Det var varmere i April!

Our local piece of ocean, Slettå
north of Haugesund, was in a bad mood today. These 4 "daring" sailors from
Bergen passed it this afternoon, without even getting seasick. But it was
rough and cold - and they felt good when beeing able to
moore in a safe harbour like the Inner quay in Haugesund. Today has
been a cold day - with north west wind and showers. Yesterday was even
worse. And we are in the summermonth June?? April was milder!

Vi lever tett på havet, her på
Haugalandet. Og da er det ganske naturlig å kunne "forsyne seg" av
havets frukter. Bildeserien viser noe av det vi fant ved kanten av Smedasundet
like før stengetid i kveld:

We live close to the sea - we inhabitors
on Haugalandet. What's more natural than to make use of the "fruits of
the ocean". The pictures below show us what I found, just before
closing time this afternoon:

Soon time for vacation
This site will have reduced update frequency
for a while no, but keep on visiting it - until June 8 there will be 2-3
updates a week, and then a 2-3 week break because of vacation.
We plan to organize the former issues before
the summer break, to make it easier to find what you look for. And - we
