Nå er det hele i gang. Så får vi se hvor lenge det varer. Hvis det f.eks. blir slutt på tilgang på kontante penger, kan det ikke vare lenge før noe må gjøres. For det er streikende Securitasansatte som sørger for at banker og minibanker blir forsynt med penger. 

I vårt distrikt merker vi bl.a. redusert ferjekapasitet i alle samband. På Umoe, byens største arbeidsplass har de hatt dårlig med arbeid siden i fjor sommer. I dag mistet de et fint oppdrag for 150 mann i en uke. Boreskipet "Petrojarl", som skulle ankommet i dag, gikk i stedet til et verft i Tyskland. P.g.a. streiken!

Og øl og mineralvannsjåførene i 2 naboselskaper i Bokngaten, har hatt en het strid i dag. Se bilder lenger nede på siden.

We have a strike in Norway. 85.000 people all over the country have stopped working, to try to force through their demands for higher wages, education opportunities and longer vacation. We have been aware of the strike for almost a week. And many of us have bought lots of bread, flour, yeast, beer, limonade, toilet paper, liquer, wine and other "necessary" items.

And now the strike has started. We dont know for how long. But - if the cash come to an end - something must be done. The company supplying the banks and cashmachines with money are on strike!

In our region we have reduced ferry capasity. Umoe, the largest indutrial site in Haugesund has hundreds of employees on strike. They need work - but today they lost a job for 150 employees in 1 week - because of the strike.

Some of the drivers of the beer and soda water distributors are on strike. Today they have had their "fight", with one company (with drivers on strike) prevening the trucks of another company to drive. How? See the pictures!
