I Sauda har de snø oppi fjellene. Svandalen skisenter var i full gang med preparering av løypene som virket harde, men snø var der!

Underveis, både til og fra Sauda, gjorde jeg noen fotostopp, og fikk derfor innfridd ennå bildeønsker fra noen av dere som besøker dette nettstedet.

If we want snow these days in the Haugesund area, we can go to the Etne- or the Sauda mountain area's. Or - we can bring a binocular to the Steinsfjellet viewpoint to see some distant mountains with snow on. We miss the snow, but the mild winters we experience now, give us only short periods with this kind of real winter! 

In Sauda they have green lawns - and snow (se picture above). On the Svandalen downhill centre they worked hard making the tracks ready for next weekend.

Jan 18: Strong, cold northern breeze, scattered clouds, dry
Jan 17: Northern wind, overcast. Not very pleasant.
Jan 14: Cold and beautiful ( -3C in the morning )
Jan 13: Overcast until 2-3P, colder with northern wind. Fine at 4P
Jan 12: Overcast, breeze
Jan 11: Overcast, light wind
Jan 10: Overcast, wind and rain
Jan 09: Scattered clouds, breeze, only a few very light showers.
Jan 08: Until 1P: Overcast,  southern wind, high tide, no rain so far today
Jan 07: Dark, overcast, raining more or less all day. Strong breeze from south.
Jan 06: Changing from light clouds to heavy showers with strong breeze.
Jan 05: Overcast, south westerly breeze
Jan 04: Fine day, but - we had some very light showers mid day. 
Jan 03: Rain in the morning, fine mid day, rain and strong wind in evening.
Jan 02: It has started blowing again. Strong westerly breeze. Storm tomorrow?
Jan 01: Started out beautiful, more clouds during the afternoon. Rain in evening.
Dec 31: Lighty wind, low clouds, almost foggy. Midnight: Very wet rain !

Dec 25: Rough southern wind and showers in the morning
