Glimt fra Haugesund

Bildene i dag er stort sett tatt fra høydedraget Hest i Lotheparken. Det betyr nordre bydel og utsiktsbilder. Ettersom havet er med på flere av bildene, passer det vel egentlig bra å åpne med redningskøyta Haakon VII, som ligger til kai i Haugesund i dag. 

English:
Most of today's pictures are shot from the hill Hest (Horse) in the Lothe park. This will give you pictures from the northern part of central Haugesund. And, as the ocean is part of many of the them, it's a good match to start with one of the the rescue vessels of "Det norske redningselskap": "Haakon VII" ( named after the former norwegian king, HM Haakon 7 - grandfather of today's king, HM Harald 5.

Dec 11: Fine day, blue sky, cold
Dec 12: Fine before noon (-4C), some snow 12A-2P, later overcast
Dec 13: Overcast, more before noon. Clear sky at 6PM
Dec 14: Beautiful, cold and clear winter day
Dec 15: Fine day, but overcast in the afternoon
Dec 16: Overcast, grey, rain
Dec 17: Overcast, some rain, hard storm, very rough. 
Dec 18: Overcast, hail before noon, heavy snowfall and wind after 3P
Dec 19: Sunday: Fine before noon, wet, heavy snowfall after noon.
Dec 20: Monday: Rain all day. Extremely wet and slippery roads with ice
Dec 21: Tuesday: Wind, some rain, mild. Still much ice on some roads
Dec 22: Wednesday: Strong breeze, showers, mild. No more snow.
Dec 24: Christmas eve: Overcast, wind, some showers. Best to stay indoor.
Dec 25: Rough southern wind and showers in the morning
Dec 26: Overcast, showers, wind
Dec 27: Dark clouds, heavy showers, wind
Dec 28-31: Wet, some freezing road surfaces
Dec 31: Lighty wind, low clouds, almost foggy. Midnight: Very wet rain !
Jan 01: Started out beautiful, more clouds during the afternoon. Rain in evening.
Jan 02: It has started blowing again. Strong westerly breeze. Storm tomorrow?
Jan 03: Rain in the morning, fine mid day, rain and strong wind in evening.
Jan 04: Fine day, but - we had some very light showers mid day. 
Jan 05: Overcast, south westerly breeze
